Definitely a must-see when visting the Bassin d'Arcachon!
The reward makes the effort of climbing it worthwile: enjoy the breathtaking views on the Arcachon Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

This sandbank is only accessible by boat and is a popular spot among locals. Our advice: go there early in the morning and admire the Dune du Pilat before all other boats arrive.

Cap Ferret is THE place to escape for a day. This peninsula, with its 10 villages, is a unique and unspoilt place located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Arcachon, with a very special charm.

Le cap ferret est LE spot pour s’échapper le temps d’une journée. Cette presqu’île avec ses 10 villages est un lieu unique et préservé situé entre l’Océan Atlantique et le Bassin d’Arcachon avec u charme tout particulier

We are just steps away from the beach of La Hume where you find several options to have a drink or eat some oysters.
Right next to us, you will moreover find an excellent and locally famous French bistrot serving delicious lunch and dinner.
We also highly recommend trying the cheese selection of the local cheese shop Maison Servat on our terrace (in our opinion one of the best cheese shops in this area) that is only a 10-min walk from us.
If you fancy a more fine dining experience, you will have several options only 15 minutes’ drive from us.
And last but not least, there is also the option to hire a private chef and enjoy a delicious dinner at Chez Brens…
As we are food lovers ourselves, we are constantly on the lookout for good places and are happy to share our favourite picks with you.
Food
